I definitely am. Not buying The Sims 3 would be like saying goodbye to my favourite hobby! xD I need the newest Sims. I can't stay in the past with old Sims games, although I do go back and play them every so often.

But I personally can't wait for the release of The Sims 3. It's gonna be great. I just hope it doesn't run slowly on my PC. :S

i cant cos its nowhere near my b-day, but i have a younger brother whose birthday is EXACTLY a week after the release date (currently, it may change). seeing as he ALWAYS uses my sims2 game, he will prob buy the sims 3, so i will be able to play then!!!! WOOP! i hope sims 3 is a bit more realistic. for example: in sims 2, after moving one person into a new decorated home, the first thing they usually do is: look at the shower(?!?). in sims 3 i hope they dont do this it is SOOOOO annoying!

I don't think i'll get it as soon as it comes out, I have a PC that can run it but I want to get the most out of my sims 2 games seeing as I have spent over £200 +more on them altogether sad

Plus I want to complete at least 1 legacy (now on gen 6 big grin)

Edit: 7 and counting!

so do i, i tried 1 legacy, ended up forgetting how many times i used cheats, so i am trying to create an easier legacy challenge, like the legacy challenge, but a bit easier, for begginers and people who cant complete a normal legacy. (me for example...)

For me, Cheats aren't the problem, the problem is the fact that I cannot keep interest, or they get so dong rich, and thier house is so big it gets laggy. sad

once, i created a GREAT sims 2 legacy, it was my first so i didnt get bored as quick, and that was before i learnt about the cheats (stupid cousin told me about them), i got to the 9th generation, i was just about to get my heir married when, he died of spontaeneous combustion. and he was the last member.
