Well I joined because I wanted to read the 8 sim challenge, and then I figured why not check out the forums and such.. And I am a bit surprised that it is so dead.. The last post before my own was a whole 6 days ago!:|
Maybe we should do something? I know maxis has some pretty strict rules lately but.. are we aloud to post this site on their forum to get more people to join maybe? I would like to have a forum to talk on especially about sims.. and I find myself not posting on the bbs forum very often. Anyway, just a thought! | |

This is actually a bit of a problem, your right.
Although we have quite a bit of traffic each day, everyone seems to skim past the forums without a second glance.
The site is quite new though, and I think once we get some creators downloads should attract more people. We are also on the waiting list to be Snooty's featured site, so in a while we should be on snooty sims front page form a week.
I have also applied to join the fansite directory they have at the official site, but they aren't reading any mail, most links have been there for years.
So I think that's off, but I think we could advertise in sigs ect at the bbs.
I did post the Eight Sim Chall there, but didnt get a response.
But yeah, I think if we get a little advertising for the forum it could become quite popular.
Maybe we can get a group together to help boost the posts, think i'll look into it later in the day. ;)

I have found that people just don't like posting to these kind of forums for some odd reason. As soon as I made my new forum on Proboards, it hit off pretty good! I really push you, Chris, to make a Proboards Forum. :/ | |
